Audrey Lillian (Beebe) Brown

Audrey L. Brown, age 90 of Cortland, NY passed away surrounded by her family on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at Guthrie Cortland Medical Center.

Born April 27, 1931 in Hull, Quebec, Canada, she was the daughter of the late William and Inez Lago Beebe and wife of the late Edward “Bud” Brown who died November 28, 2016. Audrey was a member of Peruville New Testament Church and had been employed with Smith Corona prior to retirement.

Audrey is survived by her three daughters, Linda (Allen) Edgecomb of Cortland, Sharon (Jepson) Ordway of Freeville and Dr. Cheryl (Ralph/ "Dick") Reygers of Freeville; grandchildren, James (Keri) Edgecomb, Allison Edgecomb and Sarah Edgecomb, Melanie (Brett ) Simeone, Garrett (Amara) Ordway, Audrey Kate (Ryan) Bonk and Brian Ordway, Danielle (Joseph) Britton, Andrew, Robert (LeighAnn), Jeffrey and Nicholas (Katie) Reygers and Lisa (Daniel) Ross; 15 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and other extended family members.

A Memorial service will be held at 1 PM, Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at the Peruville New Testament Church with Pastor John Iler officiating. Friends are invited to call at the church from 12 to 1 PM Prior. Interment will follow in Groton Rural Cemetery. Memorials, in lieu of flowers, are directed to the New Testament Church Bible Fund.
