Alfred E. Griffen,
age 90, of 437 Sheldon Rd., Freeville,
NY, died Tuesday, November 6, 2007, at the Cayuga Medical Center at Ithaca. Mr. Griffen was born August 14, 1917 at Enfield, NY, and was a longtime area resident. He was married to the former Wanda Hager on June 27, 1953 at Candor, NY. Years ago, Alfred was a Milkman for Luce Dairy in Ithaca.Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Wanda Hager Griffen of Freeville; a sister, Alice Baker of Ithaca; a brother, Richard Griffen of Ithaca; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Friday, November 9, 2007, at
the Perkins Funeral Home, 55 West Main St., Dryden. Burial will follow in
Willow Glen Cemetery, Dryden. There are no calling hours
